Implementation of Fuzzy Mamdani for Determining Laptop Specifications

The use of laptops is currently experiencing rapid growth, making them an important requirement for the wider community. Sometimes, users don't always adapt laptop specifications to their actual use. For example, they might buy a laptop with high specifications when, in fact, the laptop will be used for more demanding work, such as graphic design, compared to jobs that only require normal typing. The purpose of this study is to produce a value that is used as a reference as a specification criterion for a laptop according to hardware components. This study uses the Mamdani fuzzy model with the stages of set formation, implication function application, rule composition, and defuzzification. The results of the study are output values in the form of laptop specification category values based on input hardware components that can help users find out which laptop they own or will have with low, medium, or high capabilities.
