This community service program aimed to strengthen local residents’ understanding of mining-related environmental risks and improve their ability to conduct simple community-based environmental monitoring. The program was conducted in Atuka Village, Mimika Tengah District, Mimika Regency, Central Papua, involving 10 participants consisting of local residents, community leaders, youth representatives, and local community groups. A participatory-educational approach was applied through four stages: needs assessment, environmental literacy education, simple environmental monitoring training, and evaluation followed by action planning. The training materials covered mining-related environmental impacts, reclamation and post-mining concepts, simple water quality observation, dust and noise identification, and community-based environmental reporting. The results showed that participants’ understanding increased from an average pre-test score of 49.4 to an average post-test score of 79.8, indicating an improvement of 30.4 points. The program also produced a simple environmental monitoring sheet and an initial plan to establish a community-based environmental monitoring group. These findings indicate that practical environmental literacy training can serve as an initial empowerment model for promoting community participation, transparent communication, and sustainable environmental governance in mining-related areas.
Obed Patiung Frederik Irsan Delu Abd. This study aimed to examine the process of epistemological transformation through the integration of science and religion in Natural Science learning at MTsN 3 Kediri and to develop a conceptual model that explains this transformation. A qualitative case study design was employed using classroom observations, semi structured interviews with the principal, Natural Science teachers, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students, as well as document analysis. Data were analyzed through thematic analysis following the stages of data reduction, coding, categorization, interpretation, and verification using source and method triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that epistemological transformation occurs through three interrelated dimensions, namely conceptual integration, methodological integration, and practical integration. The integration process shifts the educational paradigm from a dichotomous perspective toward a complementary and dialogical relationship between science and religion, supported by visionary leadership, teacher competence, institutional commitment, and a pesantren based educational environment. Based on these findings, this study proposes an epistemological transformation model that integrates scientific inquiry with Islamic values within a holistic learning framework. The study contributes to the discourse on science and religion integration by providing empirical evidence that epistemological transformation can be operationalized through classroom practice, institutional culture, and educational leadership. The proposed model offers practical guidance for developing integrative science education in Islamic schools while extending the theoretical perspective on the integration of scientific and religious knowledge.
Abas Shofwan Ngainun Na’im Copyright (c) 2026 Abas Shofwan, Ngainun Na’im https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-09 2026-07-09 17 30 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1547 Organizational Transformation of Regional Secretariats through a Learning Organization Approach: A Systematic Review from an Educational Management Perspective https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1416
Public sector organizations require continuous transformation to respond to technological advances, bureaucratic complexity, and increasing demands for effective public services. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Regional Secretariats through a learning organization approach from an educational management perspective. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by searching the literature through Google Scholar, Scopus, and other relevant academic databases. Following the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages based on predetermined criteria, 10 studies were selected for the final synthesis. The findings reveal that learning organization principles support organizational transformation through four key dimensions: human resource development, learning culture strengthening, knowledge management, and adaptive capacity improvement. From an educational management perspective, these principles contribute to the development of sustainable learning systems through effective planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. The study implies that integrating learning organization concepts with educational management practices can strengthen the capacity, innovation, and adaptability of Regional Secretariats in achieving more responsive and sustainable public governance
Parizal Parizal Rizky Firnanda Tukini Rahmawati Copyright (c) 2026 Parizal Parizal, Rizky Firnanda; Tukini Rahmawati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-16 2026-07-16 31 45 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1416 The Effectiveness of SEMA Number 3 of 2018 in Strengthening the Legal Protection of Iddah and Mut'ah Alimony Claims for Divorced Widows (Study of Decision Number 238/Pdt.G/2024/PA. Mn) https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1602
This study examines the role of Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2018 in protecting a wife’s rights to iddah and mut’ah maintenance in wife-initiated divorce, with particular reference to Decision Number 238/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Mn. This study employed doctrinal legal research using statutory and case approaches. The primary legal materials included Decision Number 238/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Mn, Law Number 1 of 1974 as amended by Law Number 16 of 2019, the Compilation of Islamic Law, Supreme Court Regulation Number 3 of 2017, and Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2018. Secondary legal materials consisted of relevant books and scholarly articles. The legal materials were analysed through legal interpretation and content analysis, focusing on the recognition of post-divorce rights, the application of the Circular Letter in judicial reasoning, the proportionality of the awarded maintenance, and the enforceability of the judgment. The findings show that the court explicitly relied on Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2018 after finding insufficient evidence that the plaintiff had committed nusyuz. The court awarded IDR 7,500,000 in iddah maintenance and IDR 16,000,000 in mut’ah. These findings demonstrate normative recognition and adjudicative protection of women’s post-divorce economic rights. However, enforcement-level effectiveness could not be established because no verified evidence of actual payment or execution was available. Therefore, the Circular Letter functions as an interpretive judicial guideline, although its broader effectiveness cannot be generalised from a single decision.
Agus Widyanto Mohammad Muhibbin Diyan Isnaeni Copyright (c) 2026 Agus Widyanto, Mohammad Muhibbin, Diyan Isnaeni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-07-15 2026-07-15 46 56 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1602 Leadership Commitment and Internal Control Effectiveness in Financial Reporting: The Mediating Role of the Government Internal Control System in Indonesia's Defense Institutions https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1747
Increasing demands for transparency and accountability in public financial management have heightened the importance of effective internal control systems, particularly within defense institutions that operate under complex bureaucratic and military command structures. This study aimed to examine the direct effect of leadership commitment on financial reporting quality, investigate the mediating role of the Government Internal Control System (Sistem Pengendalian Intern Pemerintah—SPIP), and compare its implementation within the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian National Armed Forces. An explanatory sequential mixed-methods design was employed by integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were collected from 120 financial management personnel through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The qualitative phase involved semi-structured interviews with eight key informants to explain the quantitative findings and explore institutional differences in SPIP implementation. The results revealed that leadership commitment had a positive and significant effect on both SPIP implementation (β = 0.645, p < .001) and financial reporting quality (β = 0.412, p = .002). SPIP also had a significant positive effect on financial reporting quality (β = 0.528, p < .001) and partially mediated the relationship between leadership commitment and financial reporting quality. Qualitative findings further demonstrated that the Ministry of Defense primarily adopted a rule-based administrative approach, whereas the Indonesian National Armed Forces emphasized command-based implementation. These findings suggest that strengthening financial accountability in the defense sector requires an adaptive internal control model that integrates administrative compliance with hierarchical command practices.
Dody Hananto Andriansyah Copyright (c) 2026 Dody Hananto, Andriansyah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-02 2026-08-02 57 70 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1747 The Effectiveness of Group Guidance Using the Discussion Technique in Improving Interpersonal Communication of Tenth-Grade Students at MA Jeumala Amal Pidie Jaya https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1539
This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of group counseling using discussion techniques in improving the interpersonal communication of tenth-grade students at MA Jeumala Amal Pidie Jaya. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group design was employed. The sample consisted of 16 students with low interpersonal communication scores, selected through purposive sampling and divided into an experimental group (n = 8) and a control group (n = 8). Data were collected using a 48-item interpersonal communication questionnaire based on five indicators: openness, empathy, supportiveness, positiveness, and equality using a Guttman scale (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.908). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann Whitney U Test. The results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group's interpersonal communication scores following the intervention (Z = -2.524, p = 0.012, r = 0.89), while the control group showed no significant change (Z = -1.472, p = 0.141, r = 0.52). The between-group comparison confirmed that the improvement in the experimental group was significantly greater than in the control group (Z = -3.371, p = 0.001, r = 0.84). Gains were observed across all five indicators, with the largest improvement in equality (+66.67 percentage points) and the smallest in supportiveness (+48.61 percentage points). These findings indicate that group counseling using discussion techniques is an effective strategy for improving students' interpersonal communication. The approach can therefore be adopted by school counselors as part of guidance and counseling services.
Niswatul Chaira Diana Septi Purnama Copyright (c) 2026 Niswatul Chaira, Diana Septi Purnama https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-15 2026-08-15 71 79 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1539 Character Education Strategies in Indonesian Language Instruction for Fostering Politeness and Discipline in Elementary Schools https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1680
Character education plays a vital role in fostering politeness and discipline among elementary school students. Indonesian Language instruction provides a strategic context for character development because language use reflects students' attitudes, discipline, and social behavior. This study aimed to describe the strategies of a character education program implemented through Indonesian Language instruction to foster politeness and discipline in an elementary school. A qualitative case study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Kadisoka, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, over a four-month period. The participants consisted of one principal, one vice principal for curriculum affairs, one fifth-grade Indonesian Language teacher, and one purposively selected fifth-grade student who participated in the interviews. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations involving fifth-grade students, and document analysis and were validated using source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that character education was implemented through three interconnected strategies: (1) integrating politeness and discipline values into lesson planning, (2) implementing learning activities based on teacher modeling, classroom rules, and habitual use of polite language, and (3) reinforcing moral knowledge, moral feeling, and moral action throughout the learning process. Evidence from classroom observations showed that students generally demonstrated polite language use, compliance with classroom norms, and positive communication during learning activities, while the interviewed student's perspectives complemented these observational findings. The study proposes a conceptual model illustrating how Indonesian Language instruction can support the integration of character education within the school context. These findings provide practical guidance for teachers and school leaders in implementing systematic and integrated character education programs.
Amalia Oktaviyani Fikamulyana Dian Hidayati Muhammad Zuhaery Copyright (c) 2026 Amalia Oktaviyani Fikamulyana, Dian Hidayati, Muhammad Zuhaery https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-17 2026-08-17 80 90 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1680 Collaborative School Leadership Practices in Educational Partnerships to Support Deep Learning Implementation at SMAN 1 Muara Jawa https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1561
Deep learning has become an important approach in educational transformation by promoting more reflective, collaborative, and contextual learning. Its implementation requires collaborative school leadership practices in educational partnerships to support meaningful learning. This study aims to analyse the principal's collaborative leadership practices in educational partnerships to support deep learning implementation at SMAN 1 Muara Jawa. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants consisted of the principal, two vice principals, and two teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and document analysis and analysed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that the principal's collaborative leadership practices were reflected in human resource development, academic supervision, internal and external collaboration, and the participatory formulation of the school's vision and strategic direction. According to the participants' perspectives, these practices were perceived to support the implementation of deep learning through professional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and providing opportunities for more reflective, collaborative, and contextual learning. These findings provide a contextual empirical illustration of collaborative school leadership practices in educational partnerships as they were perceived to support the implementation of deep learning within the context of SMAN 1 Muara Jawa.
Hermin Susanti Puguh Wahyu Prasetyo Dian Hidayati Copyright (c) 2026 Hermin Susanti, Puguh Wahyu Prasetyo, Dian Hidayati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-18 2026-08-18 91 110 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1561 Integrating POSDCORB Management and the PERMA Model for Student Well-Being in Inclusive Elementary Schools https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1588
The post-pandemic transition has widened the basic literacy gap among early grade students, often triggering academic anxiety and disrupting their psychological well-being. This study analyzes how an inclusive elementary school implemented a scaffolding program to improve student well-being through systematic institutional management. Using a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Elementary School, Yogyakarta. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with four key informants: the Deputy Head of Human Resources, the Deputy Head of Curriculum, a first-grade teacher, and a guidance counselor. Data analysis was conducted using thematic coding through ATLAS.ti 9 software. Findings indicate that integrated school governance, characterized by selective staffing, humanistic guidance with gradual reductions in support, and cross-staff coordination, provides a framework that supports targeted pedagogical interventions. Rather than claiming a direct causal relationship, the data suggest that this managerial synergy contextually enables students to achieve incremental “small wins” in reading and writing, thereby fostering a classroom environment attuned to positive emotions, engagement, and achievement. In conclusion, aligning administrative management with adaptive learning support in the classroom is crucial to building a sustainable mental health ecosystem for early grade students facing literacy barriers.
Maulida Kafilaturrohmah Muhammad Zuhaery Dian Hidayati Copyright (c) 2026 Maulida Kafilaturrohmah, Muhammad Zuhaery, Dian Hidayati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-18 2026-08-18 111 125 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1588 Principal Strategies for Teacher Professional Development at TK IT Al Ittihad Pekanbaru https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1674
Teacher professional development is essential for improving the quality of early childhood education and requires effective principal strategies to support continuous professional learning. However, evidence on such strategies in integrated Islamic early childhood education settings remains limited. This study aimed to analyse principal strategies for teacher professional development at TK IT Al Ittihad Pekanbaru, Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative single-case study was conducted involving four purposively selected participants, comprising the principal, vice principal, and two teachers. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis, and analysed using Braun and Clarke’s reflexive thematic analysis supported by ATLAS.ti 9. The findings revealed eight interconnected themes: strategic planning, teacher professional development initiatives, competency strengthening, professional learning culture, monitoring and evaluation, follow-up actions, supporting factors, and implementation barriers. The findings suggest that, within the context of TK IT Al Ittihad Pekanbaru, teacher professional development was perceived to be supported through interconnected practices involving instructional leadership, collaborative professional learning, continuous improvement, and the integration of Islamic values. These findings contribute to the educational leadership literature by providing contextual evidence on principal strategies for teacher professional development in integrated Islamic early childhood education settings.
Afriliana Enung Hasanah Muhammad Zuhaery Copyright (c) 2026 Afriliana, Enung Hasanah, Muhammad Zuhaery https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-18 2026-08-18 126 147 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1674 Reconstructing Justice in the Utilization of Pawned Rice Fields: An Empirical Study from the Perspective of Sharia Economic Law in East Lampung, Indonesia https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1821
Rice-field pawning remains a common form of community-based financing in East Lampung, Indonesia, where agricultural land is pledged as collateral to meet urgent economic needs. However, the utilization of pledged land by the murtahin may create an imbalance in rights, obligations, risks, and economic benefits when the arrangement lacks clear contractual boundaries. This study aimed to analyze the utilization of pawned rice fields from the perspective of Sharia economic law and to formulate a reconstruction of justice governing the relationship between rahin and murtahin. A qualitative field research design was employed in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. Data were collected through field observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that rice-field pawning was predominantly based on oral agreements and customary practice, with the murtahin controlling and cultivating the land and receiving agricultural yields until the debt was repaid, while contractual duration, benefit allocation, and utilization mechanisms remained unclear. The proposed reconstruction emphasizes restoring rahn to its debt-security function, separating the loan agreement from land-utilization arrangements, establishing a definite contractual period, strengthening written documentation, and regulating agricultural benefits proportionately. The study concludes that these mechanisms provide a more balanced framework for protecting both parties, strengthening contractual certainty, and aligning rice-field pawning with Sharia economic law.
Annisa Julianingsih Liky Faizal Khoiruddin Copyright (c) 2026 Annisa Julianingsih, Liky Faizal, Khoiruddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-08-19 2026-08-19 148 159 10.61255/vokatek.v4i2.1821
