This community service program aimed to strengthen local residents’ understanding of mining-related environmental risks and improve their ability to conduct simple community-based environmental monitoring. The program was conducted in Atuka Village, Mimika Tengah District, Mimika Regency, Central Papua, involving 10 participants consisting of local residents, community leaders, youth representatives, and local community groups. A participatory-educational approach was applied through four stages: needs assessment, environmental literacy education, simple environmental monitoring training, and evaluation followed by action planning. The training materials covered mining-related environmental impacts, reclamation and post-mining concepts, simple water quality observation, dust and noise identification, and community-based environmental reporting. The results showed that participants’ understanding increased from an average pre-test score of 49.4 to an average post-test score of 79.8, indicating an improvement of 30.4 points. The program also produced a simple environmental monitoring sheet and an initial plan to establish a community-based environmental monitoring group. These findings indicate that practical environmental literacy training can serve as an initial empowerment model for promoting community participation, transparent communication, and sustainable environmental governance in mining-related areas.
Obed Patiung, Frederik Irsan Delu, Abd. This study aimed to examine the process of epistemological transformation through the integration of science and religion in Natural Science learning at MTsN 3 Kediri and to develop a conceptual model that explains this transformation. A qualitative case study design was employed using classroom observations, semi structured interviews with the principal, Natural Science teachers, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students, as well as document analysis. Data were analyzed through thematic analysis following the stages of data reduction, coding, categorization, interpretation, and verification using source and method triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that epistemological transformation occurs through three interrelated dimensions, namely conceptual integration, methodological integration, and practical integration. The integration process shifts the educational paradigm from a dichotomous perspective toward a complementary and dialogical relationship between science and religion, supported by visionary leadership, teacher competence, institutional commitment, and a pesantren based educational environment. Based on these findings, this study proposes an epistemological transformation model that integrates scientific inquiry with Islamic values within a holistic learning framework. The study contributes to the discourse on science and religion integration by providing empirical evidence that epistemological transformation can be operationalized through classroom practice, institutional culture, and educational leadership. The proposed model offers practical guidance for developing integrative science education in Islamic schools while extending the theoretical perspective on the integration of scientific and religious knowledge.
Abas Shofwan, Ngainun Na’im Copyright (c) 2026 Abas Shofwan, Ngainun Na’im https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1547 Thu, 09 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Organizational Transformation of Regional Secretariats through a Learning Organization Approach: A Systematic Review from an Educational Management Perspective https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1416
Public sector organizations require continuous transformation to respond to technological advances, bureaucratic complexity, and increasing demands for effective public services. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Regional Secretariats through a learning organization approach from an educational management perspective. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by searching the literature through Google Scholar, Scopus, and other relevant academic databases. Following the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages based on predetermined criteria, 10 studies were selected for the final synthesis. The findings reveal that learning organization principles support organizational transformation through four key dimensions: human resource development, learning culture strengthening, knowledge management, and adaptive capacity improvement. From an educational management perspective, these principles contribute to the development of sustainable learning systems through effective planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation. The study implies that integrating learning organization concepts with educational management practices can strengthen the capacity, innovation, and adaptability of Regional Secretariats in achieving more responsive and sustainable public governance
Parizal Parizal, Rizky Firnanda; Tukini Rahmawati Copyright (c) 2026 Parizal Parizal, Rizky Firnanda; Tukini Rahmawati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1416 Thu, 16 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Effectiveness of SEMA Number 3 of 2018 in Strengthening the Legal Protection of Iddah and Mut'ah Alimony Claims for Divorced Widows (Study of Decision Number 238/Pdt.G/2024/PA. This study employed doctrinal legal research using statutory and case approaches. The primary legal materials included Decision Number 238/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Mn, Law Number 1 of 1974 as amended by Law Number 16 of 2019, the Compilation of Islamic Law, Supreme Court Regulation Number 3 of 2017, and Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2018. Secondary legal materials consisted of relevant books and scholarly articles. The legal materials were analysed through legal interpretation and content analysis, focusing on the recognition of post-divorce rights, the application of the Circular Letter in judicial reasoning, the proportionality of the awarded maintenance, and the enforceability of the judgment. The findings show that the court explicitly relied on Supreme Court Circular Letter Number 3 of 2018 after finding insufficient evidence that the plaintiff had committed nusyuz. The court awarded IDR 7,500,000 in iddah maintenance and IDR 16,000,000 in mut’ah. These findings demonstrate normative recognition and adjudicative protection of women’s post-divorce economic rights. However, enforcement-level effectiveness could not be established because no verified evidence of actual payment or execution was available. Therefore, the Circular Letter functions as an interpretive judicial guideline, although its broader effectiveness cannot be generalised from a single decision.
Agus Widyanto, Mohammad Muhibbin, Diyan Isnaeni Copyright (c) 2026 Agus Widyanto, Mohammad Muhibbin, Diyan Isnaeni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1602 Wed, 15 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Leadership Commitment and Internal Control Effectiveness in Financial Reporting: The Mediating Role of the Government Internal Control System in Indonesia's Defense Institutions https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1747
Increasing demands for transparency and accountability in public financial management have heightened the importance of effective internal control systems, particularly within defense institutions that operate under complex bureaucratic and military command structures. This study aimed to examine the direct effect of leadership commitment on financial reporting quality, investigate the mediating role of the Government Internal Control System (Sistem Pengendalian Intern Pemerintah—SPIP), and compare its implementation within the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian National Armed Forces. An explanatory sequential mixed-methods design was employed by integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data were collected from 120 financial management personnel through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The qualitative phase involved semi-structured interviews with eight key informants to explain the quantitative findings and explore institutional differences in SPIP implementation. The results revealed that leadership commitment had a positive and significant effect on both SPIP implementation (β = 0.645, p < .001) and financial reporting quality (β = 0.412, p = .002). SPIP also had a significant positive effect on financial reporting quality (β = 0.528, p < .001) and partially mediated the relationship between leadership commitment and financial reporting quality. Qualitative findings further demonstrated that the Ministry of Defense primarily adopted a rule-based administrative approach, whereas the Indonesian National Armed Forces emphasized command-based implementation. These findings suggest that strengthening financial accountability in the defense sector requires an adaptive internal control model that integrates administrative compliance with hierarchical command practices.
Dody Hananto, Andriansyah Copyright (c) 2026 Dody Hananto, Andriansyah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1747 Sun, 02 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Effectiveness of Group Guidance Using the Discussion Technique in Improving Interpersonal Communication of Tenth-Grade Students at MA Jeumala Amal Pidie Jaya https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1539
This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of group counseling using discussion techniques in improving the interpersonal communication of tenth-grade students at MA Jeumala Amal Pidie Jaya. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group design was employed. The sample consisted of 16 students with low interpersonal communication scores, selected through purposive sampling and divided into an experimental group (n = 8) and a control group (n = 8). Data were collected using a 48-item interpersonal communication questionnaire based on five indicators: openness, empathy, supportiveness, positiveness, and equality using a Guttman scale (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.908). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann Whitney U Test. The results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group's interpersonal communication scores following the intervention (Z = -2.524, p = 0.012, r = 0.89), while the control group showed no significant change (Z = -1.472, p = 0.141, r = 0.52). The between-group comparison confirmed that the improvement in the experimental group was significantly greater than in the control group (Z = -3.371, p = 0.001, r = 0.84). Gains were observed across all five indicators, with the largest improvement in equality (+66.67 percentage points) and the smallest in supportiveness (+48.61 percentage points). These findings indicate that group counseling using discussion techniques is an effective strategy for improving students' interpersonal communication. The approach can therefore be adopted by school counselors as part of guidance and counseling services.
Niswatul Chaira, Diana Septi Purnama Copyright (c) 2026 Niswatul Chaira, Diana Septi Purnama https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1539 Sat, 15 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Character Education Strategies in Indonesian Language Instruction for Fostering Politeness and Discipline in Elementary Schools https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1680
Character education plays a vital role in fostering politeness and discipline among elementary school students. Indonesian Language instruction provides a strategic context for character development because language use reflects students' attitudes, discipline, and social behavior. This study aimed to describe the strategies of a character education program implemented through Indonesian Language instruction to foster politeness and discipline in an elementary school. A qualitative case study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Kadisoka, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, over a four-month period. The participants consisted of one principal, one vice principal for curriculum affairs, one fifth-grade Indonesian Language teacher, and one purposively selected fifth-grade student who participated in the interviews. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations involving fifth-grade students, and document analysis and were validated using source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that character education was implemented through three interconnected strategies: (1) integrating politeness and discipline values into lesson planning, (2) implementing learning activities based on teacher modeling, classroom rules, and habitual use of polite language, and (3) reinforcing moral knowledge, moral feeling, and moral action throughout the learning process. Evidence from classroom observations showed that students generally demonstrated polite language use, compliance with classroom norms, and positive communication during learning activities, while the interviewed student's perspectives complemented these observational findings. The study proposes a conceptual model illustrating how Indonesian Language instruction can support the integration of character education within the school context. These findings provide practical guidance for teachers and school leaders in implementing systematic and integrated character education programs.
Amalia Oktaviyani Fikamulyana, Dian Hidayati, Muhammad Zuhaery Copyright (c) 2026 Amalia Oktaviyani Fikamulyana, Dian Hidayati, Muhammad Zuhaery https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1680 Mon, 17 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Collaborative School Leadership Practices in Educational Partnerships to Support Deep Learning Implementation at SMAN 1 Muara Jawa https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1561
Deep learning has become an important approach in educational transformation by promoting more reflective, collaborative, and contextual learning. This study analyzes how an inclusive elementary school implemented a scaffolding program to improve student well-being through systematic institutional management. Using a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Elementary School, Yogyakarta. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with four key informants: the Deputy Head of Human Resources, the Deputy Head of Curriculum, a first-grade teacher, and a guidance counselor. Data analysis was conducted using thematic coding through ATLAS.ti 9 software. Findings indicate that integrated school governance, characterized by selective staffing, humanistic guidance with gradual reductions in support, and cross-staff coordination, provides a framework that supports targeted pedagogical interventions. Rather than claiming a direct causal relationship, the data suggest that this managerial synergy contextually enables students to achieve incremental “small wins” in reading and writing, thereby fostering a classroom environment attuned to positive emotions, engagement, and achievement. In conclusion, aligning administrative management with adaptive learning support in the classroom is crucial to building a sustainable mental health ecosystem for early grade students facing literacy barriers.
Maulida Kafilaturrohmah, Muhammad Zuhaery, Dian Hidayati Copyright (c) 2026 Maulida Kafilaturrohmah, Muhammad Zuhaery, Dian Hidayati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1588 Tue, 18 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Principal Strategies for Teacher Professional Development at TK IT Al Ittihad Pekanbaru https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1674
Teacher professional development is essential for improving the quality of early childhood education and requires effective principal strategies to support continuous professional learning. However, the utilization of pledged land by the murtahin may create an imbalance in rights, obligations, risks, and economic benefits when the arrangement lacks clear contractual boundaries. This study aimed to analyze the utilization of pawned rice fields from the perspective of Sharia economic law and to formulate a reconstruction of justice governing the relationship between rahin and murtahin. A qualitative field research design was employed in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. Data were collected through field observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that rice-field pawning was predominantly based on oral agreements and customary practice, with the murtahin controlling and cultivating the land and receiving agricultural yields until the debt was repaid, while contractual duration, benefit allocation, and utilization mechanisms remained unclear. The proposed reconstruction emphasizes restoring rahn to its debt-security function, separating the loan agreement from land-utilization arrangements, establishing a definite contractual period, strengthening written documentation, and regulating agricultural benefits proportionately. The study concludes that these mechanisms provide a more balanced framework for protecting both parties, strengthening contractual certainty, and aligning rice-field pawning with Sharia economic law.
Annisa Julianingsih, Liky Faizal, Khoiruddin Copyright (c) 2026 Annisa Julianingsih, Liky Faizal, Khoiruddin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1821 Wed, 19 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Empowering Rural Communities through Solar-Powered Irrigation Using a DC Pump for Sustainable Agriculture https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1866
Tondongkura Village has considerable potential for peanut farming but faces irrigation constraints due to hilly topography and dependence on gasoline-powered pumps. A qualitative single case study design was employed. Data were collected through four semi structured interviews with four informants, consisting of the principal and three school committee members who were also parents, supported by non participant observations, WhatsApp group monitoring, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, coding, thematic categorization, comparison across data sources, and triangulation. The findings show that TQM practices were implemented through identifying parents’ needs, evaluation based quality planning, stakeholder involvement, learning standardization, integration of religious and life skill programs, teacher competence development, responsive communication, and continuous service improvement. These practices were perceived by stakeholders as supporting parental trust and community interest through perceived service quality, religious value alignment, teacher responsiveness, communication, accessibility, reputation, and social recommendations. However, changes in enrollment from 56 applicants in 2024/2025 to 73 in 2025/2026 represent descriptive enrollment dynamics and do not demonstrate that TQM directly caused enrollment growth. This study examines how collaborative governance operates in coastal Pangkep, Indonesia, and why relational gains do not always translate into stronger economic control. A qualitative single-case study used semi-structured interviews with three purposively selected key informants representing the district fisheries authority, fisheries extension service, and fisher-group leadership. Interviews were conducted on 8–10 July 2026 and triangulated with field observations and relevant policy, planning, programme, statistical, and community documents. Data were analysed through deductive–inductive thematic coding and cross-informant comparison. Findings show that collaboration functions primarily through a brokered network linking government, extension services, and community organisations. This arrangement strengthens information exchange, trust, technical learning, financial awareness, and livelihood adaptation. However, limited access to untied finance, appropriate technology, storage, logistics, and diversified markets constrains the conversion of these capacities into economic autonomy; patron–client relations simultaneously provide livelihood protection and reproduce dependence. The study conceptualises this gap as a conversion bottleneck. Policy should therefore combine institutionalised collaborative brokerage with participatory procurement, flexible financing, value-chain infrastructure, and market diversification. The findings are analytically transferable rather than statistically generalisable and remain bounded by the three-informant case design.
Nurul Islamiyah M., Rasyid Thaha, Rabinah Yunus Copyright (c) 2026 Nurul Islamiyah M., Rasyid Thaha, Rabinah Yunus https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1959 Sun, 30 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Sketchbook Based Digital Art Training at Ranggong Daeng Romo Junior High School, Takalar Regency https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1906
This community service activity introduced Autodesk Sketchbook as an accessible medium for digital painting and culturally relevant visual expression at Ranggong Daeng Romo Junior High School, Takalar Regency. This study examines the service arrangement of Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) cadres integrated with Posyandu in Natar Village, South Lampung, and evaluates its conformity with ijarah al-asykhash under Islamic economic law. Using empirical legal research with a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and document review involving ten purposively selected informants from provincial and subdistrict program institutions, the village government, Posyandu management, and BKB cadres. Data were analyzed inductively using source triangulation and a normative matrix covering the parties, consent, services, service period, ujrah, rights, obligations, and dispute prevention. The findings show that the village head's decree establishes organizational membership rather than a complete service contract. Duties and schedules are mainly communicated orally, activities generally follow the monthly Posyandu agenda, and cadres receive IDR 130,000 per month, but these elements are not brought together in one clear agreement. The absence of a written document does not automatically invalidate ijarah because Islamic law recognizes oral agreements. The main weakness is uncertainty about the authorized service recipient, detailed duties, scheduling, the basis and procedure of payment, and responsibility. The arrangement therefore cannot be consistently classified as either pure tabarru' or fully specified ijarah. A two-layer governance model is proposed: an appointment decree that establishes institutional status and a service agreement that clarifies duties, duration, compensation, accountability, complaints, and termination. This model can strengthen preventive legal protection while preserving the community-based character of BKB cadres.
Nanda Chiara Laraisyah, Liky Faizal, Gandhi Liyorba Indra Copyright (c) 2026 Nanda Chiara Laraisyah, Liky Faizal, Gandhi Liyorba Indra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2010 Thu, 03 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PKK-Based Family Empowerment Strategies for Stunting Prevention in Kuala Tanjung Village, Indonesia https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1883
Stunting remains a significant nutritional challenge in many coastal areas of Indonesia, including Kuala Tanjung Village, Batu Bara Regency. The findings indicate that PKK plays an important role in strengthening cadre capacity, providing family nutrition education, encouraging mothers’ participation in health activities, and facilitating collaboration among community stakeholders. Activities such as counselling on the first 1,000 days of life, demonstrations of nutritious local food preparation, child growth monitoring, and family nutrition initiatives were associated with increased community participation and observed changes in household dietary practices. Collaboration among PKK cadres, health workers, posyandu, and village authorities further supported programme implementation. However, challenges remained, particularly variations in cadres’ technical capacity and socio-cultural perceptions of stunting. The findings suggest that participatory empowerment, the use of locally available food resources, and cross-sectoral collaboration may contribute to creating a supportive family and community environment for stunting prevention. The proposed empowerment model should therefore be understood as a context-specific conceptual synthesis, with potential transferability to coastal or rural communities with comparable socio-economic, cultural, and institutional conditions.
Sri Wahyu Indriani Sinaga, Yudan Hermawan, Kiki Irafa Candra Copyright (c) 2026 Sri Wahyu Indriani Sinaga, Yudan Hermawan, Kiki Irafa Candra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1883 Tue, 08 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Empowering Coastal Communities through Training on Blue Swimming Crab Shell Waste Utilization for Feed Pellet Production in Nisombalia Village https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2041
Blue swimming crab shell waste is a by-product of fisheries processing that remains underutilized and has potential for further development through waste valorization. This community service activity aimed to facilitate members of the SIPARESO Creative Economy Group in practicing the utilization of blue swimming crab shell flour as an additional ingredient in the production of feed pellet prototypes and to describe the implementation of the practical process, participants’ responses, and the outputs produced. The activity was conducted on August 9, 2026, in Kuri Caddi Hamlet, Nisombalia Village, Marusu District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, involving 15 group members. A participatory hands-on approach was employed, comprising education, demonstration, guided group practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Data were collected through observations of group practice implementation, participant interviews, and documentation of the process and outputs. The nominal formulation used approximately 5 kg of ingredients, including 0.5 kg of blue swimming crab shell flour, representing approximately 10% of the total formulation. The results showed that the group was able to carry out the basic stages of ingredient preparation, mixing, steaming, and other processing procedures, with varying levels of assistance required across stages. Participants viewed the utilization of blue swimming crab shells as an alternative approach to utilizing fisheries by-products; however, its sustainability remains dependent on the availability of equipment and materials, process standardization, and continued technical assistance. Overall, the activity demonstrated the feasibility of transferring simple processing technology for the utilization of blue swimming crab by-products at the coastal community group level.
Muhammad S. Although these movements share several characteristics, their conceptual distinctions, areas of overlap, and roles in social change remain insufficiently synthesized. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to provide an integrated understanding of both movements. Relevant studies were identified through the Scopus database using the keywords “Civic Movement” and “Social Movement” in the title, abstract, and keywords fields. The search covered publications from 2000 to 2026 and was limited to journal articles within the Social Sciences subject area. Following the screening and eligibility process based on relevance to the research focus, 12 articles were included in the final analysis. The findings indicate that Civic Movements primarily emphasize civil rights, citizen participation, and engagement in governance, whereas Social Movements are more broadly associated with collective mobilization and efforts to challenge social norms and conditions. The synthesis also reveals areas of overlap in civic participation, advocacy, and collective action, although their characteristics vary across social and political contexts. This review contributes to clarifying the distinctions and intersections between Civic and Social Movements and their roles in processes of social change.
Muhammad Julianto, Sunarso Sunarso Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Julianto, Sunarso Sunarso https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2018 Mon, 14 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Enhancing Students’ Work Readiness through Soft Skills Development: A Pre-test-Post-test Evaluation https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1936
Competition in the business and industrial sectors requires Vocational High School (SMK) graduates to master not only technical skills (hard skills) but also non-technical skills (soft skills). SMK Mambaul Ulum Pandaan, as a relatively new vocational school, faces challenges in preparing students for workforce entry, particularly in recruitment processes and Curriculum Vitae (CV) preparation. This Community Service program aimed to enhance students' work readiness through integrated training in three core soft skills: time management, professional communication, and CV preparation. The activity used a participatory training approach involving lectures, discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice, evaluated using a one-group pre-test–post-test design. A total of 25 students from Grade XI and Grade XII participated in the activity. The results showed an increase in the average scores of both groups, with Grade XI improving from 2.86 to 3.05 and Grade XII from 3.05 to 3.22. The N-Gain scores were 16.7% and 17.9%, respectively. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.036, indicating a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. Overall, the findings indicate a positive change in students’ work-readiness scores following the training, although the relatively modest N-Gain values suggest that the magnitude of improvement was limited.
Megawati Fratiwi, Milasari Milasari, Rofiqoh Nur Rohmah, Sindi Wahyu Pratiwi, Maya Revanola Zainida Copyright (c) 2026 Megawati Fratiwi, Milasari Milasari, Rofiqoh Nur Rohmah, Sindi Wahyu Pratiwi, Maya Revanola Zainida https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/1936 Mon, 21 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Training on Herbal Massage Oil Preparation Using Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) for Elementary School Students https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2045
This community service program aimed to provide elementary school students with knowledge and practical exposure to the simple downstream utilization of family medicinal plants (TOGA) through training in herbal massage oil preparation at SD Inpres Pattung, Gowa Regency, Indonesia. The program used demonstrations and guided group practice covering material sorting and washing, size reduction, extraction in carrier oil, filtration, packaging, and simple labeling. Student understanding was evaluated using an eight-item quiz completed by seven respondents. The mean proportion of correct answers for five multiple-choice items was 88.6%, with perfect scores for understanding product benefits and the warming effect of ginger (100% each), and high scores for understanding the principle of spice extraction into oil and identifying an appropriate carrier oil (85.7% each). The lowest performance was observed in recalling the complete main ingredients (28.6%). Because the knowledge evaluation involved only seven student respondents, the findings should be interpreted descriptively. All respondents stated that they intended to give the product to family members, suggesting that the activity was perceived as relevant to household use. The activity produced an educational prototype and a simple practice procedure that may support similar school-based educational activities.
Wahyuni Agus, Sulfikar Sulfikar, Fauziah Hasdin, Gusma Harfiana Abbas Copyright (c) 2026 Wahyuni Agus, Sulfikar Sulfikar, Fauziah Hasdin, Gusma Harfiana Abbas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2045 Wed, 23 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Mentoring the Development of Sociology Teaching Modules Based on Learning Management Systems (LMS) and QR Codes as an Innovation for Impactful Learning in Senior High Schools https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2159
Digital transformation in secondary education depends not only on access to technology but also on teachers’ capacity to convert digital tools into pedagogically meaningful resources. This community engagement program supported teachers at SMA Amanah Nusantara Makassar in developing Sociology teaching modules that integrated the Odoo Learning Management System (LMS) and QR Codes. The program used participatory mentoring that included needs identification, a pre-test, workshops, guided practice, module development, QR Code integration, classroom simulation, consultation, a post-test, and monitoring. Teacher competence was assessed through five constructs: Digital Literacy, LMS Competence, QR Code Integration, Teaching Module Development, and Impactful Learning Readiness. Descriptive comparisons showed higher post-test means across all constructs, with the largest proportional changes in QR Code Integration (124.62%) and LMS Competence (110.85%). The available PLS-SEM results also showed positive associations along the proposed sequence from Digital Literacy to LMS Competence, QR Code Integration, Teaching Module Development, and Impactful Learning Readiness. These findings suggest that practice-oriented mentoring can help teachers translate general digital familiarity into more specific instructional capabilities. Because the program was conducted in a single partner school without a comparison group, the observed changes should be interpreted as program-associated descriptive improvements rather than causal effects.
Hasanudin Kasim, Andi Alviadi Nur Risal, Sriwahyuni, Nur Hikmah Anwar, Nurzhafira Copyright (c) 2026 Hasanudin Kasim, Andi Alviadi Nur Risal, Sriwahyuni, Nur Hikmah Anwar, Nurzhafira https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2159 Sun, 30 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis of Fiscal and Local Tax Policies at the Pesawaran Regency Local Revenue Agency to Support the Harmonization of National Fiscal Policy Regulations https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2067
The implementation of fiscal and local tax policies in Pesawaran Regency faces a gap between tax revenue targets and actual collections, indicating challenges in optimizing local tax management to support national fiscal policy harmonization under Law No. 1 of 2022 on Financial Relations between the Central Government and Local Governments (HKPD Law). This study aims to analyze the implementation of fiscal and local tax policies at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Pesawaran Regency, examine their conformity with the principles of the HKPD Law, and identify factors affecting policy optimization. This study applies a normative and empirical legal approach through analysis of legislation, local regulations, legal doctrines, and field data obtained from observations and interviews. Data were analyzed qualitatively using a deductive method to examine the relationship between legal norms and policy implementation. The findings show that, normatively, Pesawaran Regency’s local tax policies are aligned with the HKPD Law through regulatory adjustments and improved collection mechanisms. However, implementation remains suboptimal due to limited institutional capacity, inadequate tax databases, uneven digitalization, and low taxpayer compliance. This study concludes that fiscal policy harmonization requires not only regulatory alignment but also institutional strengthening, improved human resource capacity, integrated tax information systems, and enhanced supervision and tax education. The findings provide policy implications for the Pesawaran Regency Government in developing more effective, transparent, and sustainable local tax management strategies to strengthen regional fiscal autonomy
Andreas Wisma Pamungkas, Endang Prasetyowati, Erina Pane, Agus Muhammad Septian Copyright (c) 2026 Andreas Wisma Pamungkas, Endang Prasetyowati, Erina Pane, Agus Muhammad Septian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2067 Thu, 24 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Implementing Organizational Strategies for Employee Loyalty in an Islamic School: A Case Study of SDIT Al Auliya Balikpapan https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2174
Employee loyalty is important for the sustainability of Islamic educational institutions. This study analyzes organizational strategies for building employee loyalty at SDIT Al Auliya Balikpapan and identifies factors supporting and hindering their implementation. Using a qualitative case-study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis involving six purposively selected informants (n = 6): one foundation representative, one principal, one vice principal, one teacher, one school treasurer, and one administrative staff member. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings show that employee loyalty is fostered through open two-way communication, continuous human resource development, motivational strategies integrating spiritual and material appreciation, and leadership role modeling. These practices contribute to affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Their implementation is supported by consistent leadership, religious values, collaborative work culture, and a conducive work environment, while differences in policy perceptions and increased workloads remain key challenges. This study contributes to Islamic educational management by explaining how organizational strategies are translated into everyday managerial practices that strengthen employee loyalty, extending previous studies that mainly examined relationships among organizational variables.
Susnawaty Susnawaty, Ika Maryani, Sukirman Sukirman Copyright (c) 2026 Susnawaty Susnawaty, Ika Maryani, Sukirman Sukirman https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2174 Sun, 27 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Human Resource Management for Teacher Professional Development: A Case Study in a Foundation-Managed Islamic Educational Institution https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2177
This study aims to describe the implementation of human resource management in developing teacher professionalism within an Islamic educational institution. The study was motivated by the importance of teacher quality in supporting educational improvement, while several challenges remain in practice, including variations in teacher competence, limited continuous professional development, suboptimal performance appraisal, weak reward systems, and challenges in the use of educational technology. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, open observations, and documentation involving four participants, consisting of one foundation leader, one human resource manager, one education manager, and one school principal. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was strengthened through source and technique triangulation. The findings identified seven interconnected human resource management practices implemented within the institution: teacher workforce planning, competency-based recruitment and selection, continuous training and development, performance appraisal, motivation and compensation, academic supervision, and career development. These practices formed an integrated approach to teacher professional development and were associated with the development of pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies within the institutional context.
Sarkin Sarkin, Puguh Wahyu Prasetyo, Dian Hidayati Copyright (c) 2026 Sarkin Sarkin, Puguh Wahyu Prasetyo, Dian Hidayati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2177 Mon, 28 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Relationship between Online Game Addiction, Emotional Regulation, and Social Interaction among Junior High School Students in Lubuk Besar District https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2179
Online game addiction has become an important behavioral concern among adolescents and may be associated with difficulties in emotional and interpersonal functioning. This study examined the associations of emotion regulation and social interaction with online game addiction among junior high school students in Lubuk Besar District, Central Bangka Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative cross-sectional correlational study with an ex-post facto design was conducted among 190 students from three state junior high schools. Data were collected using four-point Likert-type scales measuring online game addiction, emotion regulation, and social interaction. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. Emotion regulation was significantly and negatively associated with online game addiction after controlling for social interaction (β = −.180, p = .016). Social interaction also showed a significant negative association with online game addiction after controlling for emotion regulation (β = −.358, p < .001). Emotion regulation and social interaction were jointly associated with online game addiction, F(2, 187) = 27.130, p < .001, with the model explaining 22.5% of the variance in online game addiction (R² = .225; adjusted R² = .217). These findings indicate that emotional and interpersonal functioning are relevant domains in understanding problematic gaming among junior high school students and may be considered in school guidance and counseling services. However, the cross-sectional design does not permit causal inference. Future research should employ longitudinal designs and examine additional psychological, family, academic, and environmental factors associated with online game addiction.
Wia Rasyida, Diana Septi Purnama Copyright (c) 2026 Wia Rasyida, Diana Septi Purnama https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.diginus.id/VOKATEK/article/view/2179 Wed, 30 Sep 2026 00:00:00 +0000
