The Domestic Sambusa Industry (Industri Rumah Tangga) Mutabikh Maryama in Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency (Pangkep) has significant potential for business development but faces interconnected challenges in production capacity, technology adoption, business management, supply chain management, branding, packaging, and digital marketing. This community service initiative aimed to strengthen the partner’s business capacity and competitiveness through an integrated intervention combining production modernization, business management strengthening, supply chain improvement, and digital marketing transformation. The intervention employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach involving six members of the partner group through five stages: needs identification, training and workshops, appropriate technology implementation, mentoring and monitoring, and evaluation and sustainability assessment. The intervention introduced a standing mixer, semi-automatic Sambusa skin-printing equipment, freezer, and vacuum sealer, complemented by training in financial record-keeping, inventory management using the FIFO principle, supply chain management, pricing, branding, packaging, and digital marketing. Preliminary results indicated that daily production increased from approximately 300–400 to 600–800 pieces, while production operating time decreased from approximately 8–10 hours to 4–5 hours per day. Hourly productivity also increased from approximately 35–40 to 150–160 pieces. The program additionally resulted in the adoption of food-grade packaging, a new brand identity, simplified financial and inventory recording systems, and more structured use of social media for product promotion. These results indicate that an integrated intervention combining production modernization, business management, and digital transformation can improve operational efficiency and strengthen the readiness of food-sector MSMEs to expand their market sustainably.
