Author Fee

Vokatek : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat operates under a fully open-access publishing model. All published articles are freely and permanently accessible online to readers worldwide immediately upon publication, without subscription barriers.

To support the costs associated with high-quality open-access publishing and to maintain sustainable journal operations, Vokatek applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

What the APC Covers

The APC supports a range of editorial and publishing services, including:

  • Editorial management and peer-review administration
  • Online submission and manuscript management system
  • Professional article layout and typesetting
  • Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registration and metadata management
  • Article hosting and journal website maintenance
  • Abstracting and indexing support
  • Long-term digital preservation and archiving
  • Plagiarism screening using Turnitin

Submission and Review Policy

Vokatek does not charge any submission fee. Authors may submit manuscripts and participate in the peer-review process without any financial obligation.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is only required after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the peer-review and editorial evaluation process.

Payment Policy

  • Payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author after editorial acceptance.
  • Payment must be completed within 14 days of receiving the acceptance notification.
  • The article will proceed to production and publication once full payment has been confirmed.
  • Authors are encouraged to ensure the availability of funding prior to manuscript submission.

English Language Quality

All manuscripts submitted to Vokatek must be written in clear and academically appropriate English to ensure international readability and scholarly communication.

If the manuscript does not meet the journal’s language standards, the editorial team may request language revision prior to publication. Authors may revise the manuscript independently or obtain professional English language editing from a reputable language editing service.

Any costs associated with language editing services are the responsibility of the authors and are separate from the Article Processing Charge (APC).
