The fashion industry has experienced significant growth in recent years, driven by economic expansion and increased consumer purchasing power. This growth has encouraged many individuals to venture into the fashion business. However, starting a fashion enterprise requires obtaining business licenses that comply with existing regulations. This study aims to analyze business licensing policies and their economic impact on the fashion industry. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as literature reviews, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation. The findings indicate that business licensing policies in Indonesia remain complex and cumbersome, posing significant challenges for entrepreneurs in the fashion sector. These regulatory hurdles are a major barrier for those looking to start a fashion business. Additionally, the study reveals that business licensing policies have a considerable economic impact on the fashion industry, influencing both the ease of doing business and the overall growth potential of the sector. The insights provided by this research underscore the need for streamlined and accessible licensing processes to foster a more supportive environment for fashion entrepreneurs.
