Aims & Scope
JEEMBA welcomes scholarship across accounting, auditing, taxation, management, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Its accounting remit includes reporting quality, performance measurement, public accountability, internal controls, tax administration, and digital accounting systems.
Management contributions may examine people, leadership, marketing, strategy, operations, organisational behaviour, and sustainable or Islamic business practices. The journal also covers economic development, household behaviour, public policy, resource and agricultural economics, digital economies, financial inclusion, capital markets, and corporate governance.
Further areas include new ventures and SME development, entrepreneurial ecosystems, technology adoption, social enterprise, sustainable finance, tourism economics, hospitality, business events, and halal business contexts. The journal considers original research, review articles, conceptual work, and short communications that fit these areas.
JEEMBA uses editorial screening and double-blind peer review, with publication decisions made by the editor. Articles are openly accessible. The publication-frequency policy schedules six issues annually, in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
